Dominion Wellness coaching was founded in 2020 and reached out to me to help launch their business.
Their coaching practice aims to help their clients reconnect with their inner selves and personal power.
The client wanted their logo to represent the values they founded their company with warmth, openness, and religious values. The resulting logo was a mixture of a "D" for the company's first initial and a hand that is simultaneously pointing upwards and slightly open. It used colors reflective of healthy foods and fresh air.
George Mason University’s housing department went through a full rebranding process and took me on to create a new set of visual branding for the department. The logo had to cooperate with the whole university’s visual identity and work well enough to stand on its own.
Taking on this project was especially special to me as an alumna of the school and living on campus for three years. I wanted to bring into the department’s visual identity the comforts and security of home but match it with the youthful energy that young adults are looking for in university housing.
Altrim is a construction company founded in 2020 that specializes in aluminum siding and other exterior construction components. The resulting logo needed to convey strength and reliability, not just to represent the company but also the products that they produce. Having confidence in a construction manufacturing company is essential when making a selection, and that thought stayed with me as I designed the logo and branding for Altrim.
The final logo pulled from the shape of elements from the periodic table and carrying the shape through the gestalt principle through the T makes the square seem unified to represent stability.
